On July 31st, while I was on the beach in Port Elgin just swimming and taking in the summer rays, I experienced for the very first time an annual event that takes place in Port Elgin on the beach front.
With my amazement, I had to share it with you.
Every year, Port Elgin have bagpipes and drums that march all the way to the beach front.
Once arriving, they continue to play, tell jokes and socialize with everyone.
It always features a different theme. This year's theme was about peace and love.
There were quilts, enthusiasm, good times and lots of family fun.
Listening to the bag pipes, drums, soaking up the sun and being on a beach front was amazing.
Keep yourself posted on next year's Bagpipe and Drum March.
It's defiantly worth the drive to Port Elgin Beach.
