Hiking the Guelph Radial Line Trail

The Guelph Radial Line Trail is located at the First Line Nassagaweya at Arkell Road.

This deep forest, of what feels like endless trees, is the perfect place for a hike or taking pictures. There are many trails and they are not flat. It's rugged with lots of small hills. Hiking shoes are a must.

You can come across various bush and shrubs so you might want to be careful of poison ivy. I suggest using a guide or someone that is familiar with these woods.  There are no location plaques or direction markings.

Park at the side of the road and try to remember your point of entry. It's easy to get lost. This area is true wilderness.

My favourite part of the hike was the smell of the forest. The aroma of the tree's, nature and dirt. Mother natures perfume. In this deep forest you can find tree's that are so majestic in size and fluffy with glory. You will feel consumed by these tree's.

Fall is a great time to enjoy this trail because there will be less bugs and the air will be cooler. So lace up those hiking boots and pay Mother Nature a visit at the Guelph Radial Line Trail.
