On Saturday, July 9th, 2022, Cherry Park in Kitchener had their annual Cherry park Festival.

The festival was sponsored by the following organizations/businesses:

This festival had live entertainment: The Vaudevillian, Eric Traplin, Greg Wilson & 30 Something, Dinny & the All-stars and Relic.

A special treat for folks that enjoy Hopa Tropa dance, Irish dance and Toes Across the Floor. You were able to enjoy them backstage.

There were also children's activities: The Cherry Train, 24-foot rock climber, games, low striker, scones and face paintings that had a huge line-up.

Best known for its baked goods. There were cherry pies, fresh cherries, tarts, chocolates, cherry brownies, scones, strudel and jam.

Special attractions were the axe throwing, high striker, mini put, carousel and vintage car show.

There were many vendors and food to choose from such, as the Fo'Cheesy Food truck. The park had lots of parking and special accommodations.

Special thanks go out to all the volunteers that helped, supported and participated in this amazing community event.

If you are in the area next year, it's a must-try.

Happy Summer Everyone.
